![]() The 18 year-old rhymer has been paying dues for a while now and initially honed his skills whilst a member of a former hip-hop conglomerate called London True School (which also featured his older brother P.Natural, his cousin Chris Smoove, Sir Prestige, DJ Shortee Blitz, and others). Later when the crew diminished Sir Prestige went on to form the Social Misfits and he recalled the enthusiastic youngster's potential and suggested he join the new establishment. He officially become a Social Misfit early 1999 and has already put in much work in this short period. His highly rated technical vocal flow certainly defies not only his young age but also his intermediate experience. MelloTrauma's delivery skills can only be described as smooth and very much on point. His featured contributions on the Social Misfits colloboration album, i.e., “Roll With The Misfit Soul”, “Accurate Rapper 2000” and “This Crew: Cream of the Crop!” are fine examples of why this Thornton Heath representative deserves your full attention. He describes his excellent solo debut recording, “This Crew: Cream of the Crop!”, as an accolade about himself and the people he rolls with. The composition is certainly a perfect introduction of himself to the hip-hop world and a taster of the good things to come. The track employs a very irresistibly funky musical backdrop courtesy of Sir Prestige and our man comfortably rides it with ease whilst demonstrating his rythmatic and intimate flow. His tight delivery style is very enticing and he certainly pulls more patterns than your granny does on jumpers. Mellotrauma is currently writing his album which he hopes should be available later in 2001 though intends to build up and maintain his presence through the various other forthcoming Social Misfit Entertainment releases. |
