Artists recording for Social Misfit Entertainment are collectively known as Social Misfits. This formation currently consists of Shiesty da Gypsy, Sir Prestige, Da Essence, MelloTrauma, Debrah West, I'ChelMee, Mizola, Overseas Edition, Stone Circle,Duanne Jones, SinisterMinisterz and Forensic Techniques.
Their
primary objective is to deservedly establish and firmly maintain themselves as a
reputable UK premier-class hip-hop collective representing on a universal level.
They have already individually embarked upon this mission and with great
encouragement.
Following
the securement of a major distribution deal through BMG in 1998 Prestige,
along with the former Misfit Chris Smoove, released the internationally critically acclaimed
debut maxi-single which lead to continuous media coverage and shows, including
performances in East Africa where the Social Misfits have continued to build
upon a good following.
Teenage
foursome
Da-Essence
exceeded similar attention in response to their well received demo long-player, “Now
Till infinity - The Street Album”. Favourable interviews, reviews, and
comments about them regularly appeared in most of the major urban music
publications. They have been featured on various compilations and mix-tapes as
well as enjoyed radio broadcast on various stations nationwide. Their popularity
on the streets is fast transcending on the internet where their MP3 recordings
have become commonly searched and downloaded files.
Shiesty
Da Gypsy,
a transatlantic emcee whose debut release and incredible forthcoming album is
nearing completion. Anticipate great things from this hardworking, ambitious and
talented young man who has already sparked genuine interest from various
industry personnel. Shiesty is also one-half of Overseas Edition, along with his rhyming partner and fellow Social
Misfit Mizola who reigns from Bermuda.
French-speaking South American rapper
I'ChelMee
is another exciting addition to this already internationally represented crew.
His flavourful recordings will certainly bring him due interest in the coming
months from all quarters of the globe.
MelloTrauma,
is
another hotly tipped and lyrically charismatic South Londoner teenager who hails
from Thornton Heath. He has been honing his skills for a while now and has
developed a very distinctive and rythmatic flow that has been best described as ‘eargasmic’.
Stone
Circle, (formerly
Irrational) joined Social Misfits in the early half of 2000 and they have
put in much work since. Their conceptual blend of rhymes and beats shall
definitely attract them much deserved acclaim from heads everywhere.
The four members of the Stone Circle are individually very tight and
effectively intertwine to create a group that is destined for some big things.

responsible for a majority of the collectives production alongside his
production proteges , SinisterMinisterz
and Forensic Techniques. Duanne Jones is
