Social Misfit Entertainment is an ambitious independent production and artist management company operating from South-London, England (UK). We primarily focus on producing, releasing and marketing authentic and innovative urban street music, primary hip-hop, by a small roster of artists we manage and are developing. These artists have collectively become known as the Social Misfits.
In the short time since its formation this highly active young company and its associated recording artists have become synonymous with the UK hip-hop community and we are now widely regarded as one of the prominent participants in the scene.
Through
sheer determination, dedication and constant development of skills, resources,
knowledge and talent, Social Misfit Entertainment has continued to overcome the
common barriers and obstacles associated with hip-hop, and more especially upon
the hip-hop scene in the UK. Our artists and products have enjoyed a continued
presence in retail and the music media here in the UK and we have now began a
strategic campaign to insure greater impact nationally and internationally, with
encouraging success so far.
Our
long-term corporate mission is, 'to firmly establish and maintain Social Misfit
Entertainment as a major and influential establishment within the urban music
industry, universally!'. We have accepted this as a tough but worthwhile
challenge of which we are determined to achieve by utilising all means, mediums
and resources available and accessible to us including our knowledge of the
market and ofcourse, our music. On a more short-term basis we aim to build upon
our resources and our achievements to date and elevate this beyond our own
expectations.
We
are also working upon introducing some unique new products, concepts and
marketing tactics into the marketplace that will assist us fulfil our objectives
and goals effectively and efficiently. Expect big things from Social Misfit
Entertainment cause that is what we are collectively striving for. We already
know what our capabilities are but we are all about exceeding these.
