I’ChelMee
(pronounced Eye-Shell-Me) is a French, Creole and English speaking emcee that
was born in a small South-American Island called Guadeloupe. He immigrated to
Europe in the mid-Nineties and has a home in both Paris and South-East London. The
multi-linguist I’ChelMee is a wise character who professes deep and often
probing thoughts through his poetical lyricism. Whether or not you are able to
understand foreign vocabulary his vibeful delivery will certainly captivate and
somehow keep you intrigued throughout. He is a key member of the Social Misfits and is heavily featured in
their much acclaimed album, “The Society Documented”. Infact he provides one
of the album’s memorable anthems with “Just Can’t Stop (This
Is Our World)” which interestingly blends
his versatile delivery over a wickedly catchy groove whilst he spits rhymes
about him and the Social Misfits ambitions for infinite universal recognition.
Another standout contribution is his self-professed “Ghetto
Specialist” where our foreign correspondent proclaims to be a courier of
messages for the Ghetto’s where he has lived throughout his live. Suggesting
that all poor and oppressed people suffer many similar constraints and that as a
united force much can be done to overcome many of the problems they face. Deep.
On a lighter note you can check-out his romanticism on “Talk To Me” and his
fierce mentality on “Character Assassination”. In
addition to hip-hop this versatile artist is also very much into reggae music and plays
acoustic bass guitar for a local live-dub band. He is currently putting together
his solo offering and his main ambition is to progress further into the music
industry and become internationally successful especially in Europe and Southern
America. Get to know a little more about I'ChelMee, click here |
